DC Serves – Diamond C Trailers Volunteer Opportunities

DC Serves exists to provide team members with opportunities to live out Diamond C’s values through service, strengthening our team and making a real difference in the communities where we live and work. Through this, team members are empowered to serve in meaningful ways that align with their passions and reflect who we are at Diamond C.

Serve One Another

“Work at serving one another. Put the needs of others ahead of your own. Watch out for opportunities to lend a hand, to serve, and to support one another and be willing and ready to do so. Sometimes it’s the extra hand that makes the difference and when they win, we all win! Practice servant leadership in all that you do.”

Harts Bluff ISD

It feels great to be able to give back to the School that I went to as a child. Especially to be able to help a Spanish Speaking only child, because at one point I was, spanish speaking only as well.

Itzel Garcia

It was great to see all the kids get to shop. Every kid I saw was smiling ear to ear.

NETRO

DC Serves

It’s been really awesome getting to help fellow team members at work get into volunteering. DC really put their foot forward with my organization and my people who work with me at NETRO and our partner, Let Love Live, appreciate it a lot. They love the DC Team!! Thank you for all yall have done for me and all other volunteer organizations this year. Happy 2024! And Hunter, if you are reading this, you are also awesome coordinating and planning all these events with your team.

Siobhan Bradford

Camp County Food Bank / God’s Market

It’s great to work with all the lovely people who volunteer there regularly and meet new volunteers and customers each week. It definitely gives a feeling of community and thankfulness to be able to contribute to such a great cause.

Dawn Harrison

Animal Shelter

The accounting Team took an hour and helped the animal shelter with socializing some of the animals that are currently being held. The weather was not optimal for going outside so we stayed inside. We plan on helping do more later in the year when its needed.

Coaching

My experience coaching some of the local kids was beyond rewarding. Teaching them the fundamentals of baseball, and the importance of teamwork was the joy of my spring afternoons. We weren’t just playing baseball, we were preparing these young men for the future and setting them up to be friends and leaders in their communities. I couldn’t have been more proud of the team!

Coaching

Absolutely love coaching. Coaching 3rd-4th grade girls basketball definitely poses its own challenges. Mentoring and coaching this team to be able to do what they thought they “couldn’t” is one of the best feelings in the world. Watching their confidence grow throughout the season and grow as an individual is what it’s all about.
