Published June 17, 2024
We are excited to partner with NTCC, Northeast Texas Community College for their new Process Welding Academy. This academy aims to train and equip individuals with the necessary skills to become MIG welders.
The academy teaches the equipment, processes, and techniques for a career as a production welder. Safety, detail, and the Diamond C Trailers’ specific standards are emphasized. If you have manual dexterity, an interest in welding, and a commitment to EXTRAordinary performance, please click the button below to start the application process.
Our Partnership
Our welding engineer, with years of MIG welding experience and expertise, carefully developed the Process Welding Academy curriculum. This comprehensive curriculum is designed to meet the EXTRAordinary standards set for our Diamond C welders.
Not only will the welders spend time learning at NTCC, but they will also have the opportunity to visit Diamond C and gain real-world experience. They will get the chance to take instruction from some of the lead welders at Diamond C with hands-on learning.
Once the welder successfully completes the Process Welding Academy with a passing grade, they will receive their welding certificate at the graduation ceremony hosted by NTCC at Diamond C. They will then be eligible for employment opportunities at Diamond C Trailers and other companies.

About NTCC
In the 1970s and early 1980s, a group of citizens from Camp, Morris, and Titus Counties decided that residents of this part of Northeast Texas deserved the opportunity for a better life through higher education. Northeast Texas Community College opened its doors just a few short years later in 1985.
They’ve grown and changed a lot since then, but their mission remains the same – to provide outstanding educational opportunities.
