Every trailer has a GVWR, or Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. This maximum weight rating includes the weight of the trailer itself. So, you should choose a trailer with a high enough GVWR to cover the weight you need to haul and the weight of the trailer combined. Diamond C offers trailers with GVWR’s from 1500# to 25,900#.

Then, consider your length and width needs. Common lengths range from 7’ to 40’. Maximum legal width is 102”.
